Users say it works great loading & unloading 6.5 Grendel mags & ammo

Due to the very thin sheet metal used in the construction of these mags, we’ve added a metal mag-catch to resist the knife-like pressure on the LULA, otherwise polymer mag-catch. Thus, expect some marks on the coating of the magazine above its mag-catch hole. Do not use this LULA loader if these marks are an issue.

*All these mags have no anti-tilt mag followers (due to their curved construction) and generally bear compromised design. Hence, some loading and unloading difficulties may arise when the magazine has 1 to 3 rounds. e.g., loading the first three rounds and unloading the last three rounds may pose a challenge, yet performance is well past three rounds.

  1. Bought this after having issues hand loading my 6.5 Grendel magazines. Now using this device they fit in fine and uniform. loading and unloading is much easier. Also one of the limits of “High Capacity” Grendel magazines is its not clear how many they can hold. But with LULA it loads just fine up to the limit around 20 rounds.
